StreetlifeFM serves the community of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, one of the five Olympic Boroughs.

The station celebrates the diversity of the borough by representing all ages, all ethnicities and all backgrounds. We aim to provide an inclusive and empowering platform for the voice of the local people and act as a forum to strengthen community bonds and encourage social cohesion.

We endeavour to inspire a generation of young people / communityand motivate the community as a whole by providing a cultural experience and creating accessible opportunities for learning.

Recent changes at StreetlifeFM

Most recently Streetlife has been working towards improving the service it provided to the community. We have done this by:-

• Starting a programme of on going training to match the needs of all members of the community
• Secured longer-term funding
• Streetlife Radio will shortly be a registered community interest company
• We currnetly maintain a website broadcast through an interactive and up to date website.
